Beachcomber Tote

Whether you’re packing for a trip to the beach, or picking up souvenirs on your adventures, this handy Beachcomber Tote will have room for everything! It’s made from outdoor yarn, which is fade and mildew resistant, with plenty of stretch to accommodate those oversized beach towels.

The Beachcomber Tote is knit from the bottom up, starting with a small rectangle. Stitches are picked up around each side, and the body of the tote is then knit in the round. An applied I-cord bind off gives the Beachcomber Tote a clean and sturdy edge, and the addition of grommets keeps the simple rope handles nicely in place. A step-by-step video tutorial is included.
